JERK SAUCE FOR SHRIMPS (Homemade)

Ingredients:

12 TO 24 Chicken Wings
¼ lb of Scallion
2½  medium Onions
3 tablespoons soya sauce
1 small Tomato
6 cloves Garlic
1 green Pepper (Scotch bonnet or real Chili Pepper)
3 ripe Peppers (Scotch bonnet or real Chili Pepper)
2 tablespoons Whole Ginger
3 tablespoons of Sea Salt
1 tablespoon of Cinnamon
1½ cup Orange Juice
1  tablespoon Lime Juice
2 tablespoons Sugar
3 tablespoons of Parsley (dried or fresh)
3 tablespoons of Basil (dried or fresh)
1 teaspoon Nutmeg (grated)
½ cup or 1 cup Pimento Seeds (this is the key to jerk sauce)
2 tablespoons Thyme Leaves
3 tablespoons White Vinegar
2 tablespoons Coconut Oil (or Olive oil)

First cut ingredient very fine. This is enough Jerk sause for 3 pounds of shrimps.

Instructions:

  1. Wash clean and prepare all the seasonings. Do not dice.
  2. Blend together all the ingredients you will get one cup of Jamaica’s Jerk sauce.

    Shrimps
    2 ti 3 pounds of Shrimps
    1 cups of Jerk Sauce (home-made)

    Instructions:
  1. First, prepare the shrimps by removing the shell and head. Note: you can cook shrimp without removing the shell and head. Nevertheless, you want to be professional.
  2. Rinse the prepared shrimps with white vinegar or green lime with water. This is different from recipe’s ingredient.
  3. To Bake, you will need to pre-heat the oven at the temperature 150 Degree Fahrenheit.
  4. Lie the shrimps in a baking tray.
  5. Now, put it in the oven set at 150 Degrees, and allow the shrimps to bake for 2 hours minutes.
  6. After that base the baked shrimps with Jerk sauce. And then bake for 10 minutes with oven set at 350 degrees.
  7. Jerk Shrimps is usually eaten alone and nice with Ranch Dressing, or use your favorite seafood sauce.
  8. Preparation and cooking totals 2:15 minutes.
