Instructions:

  1. Peel, wash, and prepare all the vegetable, ackee as well.
  2. Visit ackee and saltfish for more. click
  3. Put to boil prepare ackee fruit only for 8 to 12 minutes, or until tender. (This part is very important)
  4. After that, remove the water, put the boiled ackee aside.
  5. Now, put to heat a frying pot. Put gauge on flame 6. Add oil.
  6. After one minute, add the sliced onion, escallion, and stir in and sauté.
  7. After one minute, add the other ingredients, and then the cooked ackee.
  8. If you are using ackee from the can; This is the time you would remove the water and add it to the pot.
  9. Stir it, add 2 tablespoons of water or not. Cover it and turn the stove off. You are finish.
  10. Ackee Stew is delicious with brown rice or boiled hard cook food, like yam, green bananas, etc.
