Instructions:

  1. Cut tofu into little cubes the size you like.
  2. Put some of the jerk sauce in a clean clear plastic bag, (use what you have.)
  3. Next, add the tofu to the jerk and shake well.
  4. Now for the best jerk tofu, allow to marinate overnight in the refrigerator.
  5. Once you do that, place the cube jerked tofu on a baking tray.
  6. Preheat oven at 200 F, then put tray on the middle rack.
  7. Allow to low bake for 1hour and 30 minutes more or less.
  8. After 45 minutes, test for readiness.
  9. You can barbecue grill jerk tofu for 40 minutes as well.
  10. Jerk Tofu is delicious with ital bread or brown rice.
  11. Jerk Tofu is tasty with plain fresh vegetables.

JERK TOFU

Ingredients:

• 1 pack of Tofu (firm) (dice in ½ inch small square)

Ingredients for jerk sauce:

• 3 of Garlic Cloves (mashed)
• 1 Scotch Bonnet Pepper
• 4 stacks of Scallions (green onion)
• ¼ cup Lime Juice
• ¼ cup of Orange Juice
• ½ cup of Vinegar
• 2 Scotch Bonnet Peppers
• ½ cup of Mushroom Soy Sauce
• 1 teaspoon of Sea Salt
• 2 large fingers of Ginger (clean properly)
• 1 Onion
• 1 teaspoon of Thyme Seed
• 1 teaspoon of Parsley (dry)
• 1 teaspoon of Basil (dry)
• ½ cup of Pimento Seed

Blender all ingredients for 2 minutes..
