Instructions:

  1. The Shark’s Meat is raw, so to get rid of that do the following.
  2. The Shark’s Skin is rough so scrub it hard with a knife first, and then wash it with plan water.
  3. After you do that, stall the shark’s meat in enough hot water for 2 minutes. (Do not boil it)
  4. Once that is complete, soak the shark’s meat into enough white vinegar with water 3 to 1 for 10 minutes.
  5. After that, rinse with water and then place on a rack to grain for 3 minutes.
  6. Now the shark’s meat is ready to cook. This method is if you bought shark, or caught shark from the sea.
  7. Next, peel, slice, clean, dice, and wash the vegetables.
  8. Cut Shark Meat into thick slices. (Do not flour it)
  9. After that, put to heat a frying pot for stewing. Put stove’s gauge on Medium High (6).
  10. Allow to get hot for 2 minutes, and then add oil.
  11. After you add the oil, wait for one minutes, or until you see a little smoke.
  12. Now place the sliced shark meat only in the hot oil. Allow to fry on each side for 3 to 4 minutes.
  13. Allow it to fry on one side before turning it.
  14. After that, remove the cooked shark meat and carefully remove half the oil from the hot pot.
  15. Next, add all the diced vegetables like onion, garlic and so on. Stir in while it sauté.
  16. Add water, and allow simmering for 2 minutes on medium low(4).
  17. Now add the ketchup stir while sauté for 1 minutes stove gauge on High(6).
  18. Add the fried shark meat to the gravy 2 minutes post to eating.
  19. Eat stewed Shark Meat with rice and fresh vegetable.
  20. Total time for cooking stewed shark’s meat took 20 minutes, plus preparation.

  • 1 ripe Scotch Bonnet Pepper (cut in half)
  • 1 green Scotch Bonnet Pepper (cut in half)
  • Thyme (tie to two fingers)
  • ½ cup of Coconut Oil for fry (any oil is good)
  • 1 tablespoon of White Vinegar, Red Vinegar, or Lime Juice
  • ½  to 1 cup of Water
  • ¼ cup of Ketchup
