Ingredients

  • 2 cups of Almonds (fresh and roasted)
  • 5 tablespoons of Ginger (grated fine)
  • 1 cup of Water
  • 3 cups of Brown Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of Pure Cornstarch

Cooking Instructions

  1. First, Put to heat a pot for stewing.
  2. Second, Add the sugar and water. Allow to simmer, stir in for one minute.
  3. Third, add the almonds, and then the grated ginger.
  4. Allow to cook on Hi Flame.
  5. In minutes, the mixture will look caramel and sticky.
  6. Lay grease paper on a baking tray or a clean table.
  7. Now, use a tablespoon to drop the mixture on greased paper.
  8. The almond drop normal size is 2 inches round.
  9. Stir the mixture in the pot occasionally. You must do this be sure it do not stick to the pot.
  10. Use the spoon to scoop out mixture to create 1-1/4-inch wide mounds on the
    greased paper.
  11. Allow to cool before serving..
