Ingredients

  • 1 cup of Peanut (roasted and broken)
  • 2 tablespoons of Butter
  • 1 cup of Brown Sugar or granulated
  • 1/2 cup of Corn Syrup (light or dark)
  • 1 teaspoon of Salt (if nuts is not salted)
  • 2 tablespoons of Butter
  • 2 teaspoons of Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/4 cup of water

Cooking Instructions

  1. Put to heat a pot for stewing. Add the sugar, water, and corn syrup. Simmer on low flame for 4-5 minutes.
  2. After that, stir in the peanuts allow to cook for Medium low flame for 5 minutes or until the peanuts take on a darker golden color.
  3. Next, stir in butter and vanilla for 1 minute.
  4. Stir in baking soda until light, and foamy. Mix it properly and thoroughly.
  5. Pour onto grease paper or baking sheet and spread about one inch thick.
  6. Allow to set, and cool for 1 hour then cut into cubes a size you like.
    Can be stored in a clean dry sealed container..
