Ingredients

  • ¾ cup of Sugar (granulated mix with Brown Sugar)
  • 1 cup and 2 oz of Flour (all purpose flour)
  • ¼ teaspoon of Cinnamon (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
  • ½ teaspoon of Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoon of Sea Salt
  • 1 Egg (large)
  • ¼ teaspoon of Nutmeg (grated) - optional
  • 1 cup of Chocolate Chips (keep that frozen, or cooled)
  • ½ cup of Butter (one stick)
  • ½ cup of Nuts (I used crushed peanuts)

Cooking Instructions

  1. Sift together in a bowl, the flour, with the other dry ingredients.
  2. Now in separate bowl, Mix the butter and mixed brown and granulated sugar. Stir in add the egg and mix again.
  3. Next combine butter mixture with flour mixture, and add the chocolate chips. You can add crushed nuts if you want.
  4. Combine well with a wooden spoon.
  5. Form and flatten cookie dough to a regular cookie shape.
  6. Place the cookies on a none grease baking tray.
  7. In a preheated oven set at 375 bake the cookies for 10 minutes. (More or less)
  8. You can sprinkle more powdered sugar on top. To me, it's delicious plain.
  9. Allow to cool. Chocolate Chip Cookie is good dessert snack.
