Method:
  • Dice the Irish potato.
  • Blend together until smooth..
  • Put 4 cups of water to boil with the stove gauged on 4.
  • Once boil to, add the Irish potato liquid.
  • Now put your stove on low. Allow simmering for 15 minutes.
  • While the potato porridge is simmering, stir it in until it is creamy. Doing this will not make it lumpy.
  • Stir in occassionally.
  • Add the suger, spices and a pinch of salt.
  • Use the pot's lid, slightly cover it three quarter way.
  • After the 15 minutes add the milk (coconut milk).
  • Gentle stir in. You want the potato porridge to be creamy.
  • With the stove still on very low. Allow it to boil for another 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Jamaican potato Porridge is ready to drink.
  • If you are serving hot, be careful do not get burn.

Ingredients:

3 small Irish Potatoes
(blended in 4 cups water)
- put to boil
(guaged flame on very low)
1/4 teaspoon of Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of Nutmeg

2 cup of Coconut Milk. - add this 20 minutes near the end.
