Be sure there is no worm nor dirt on the fruit. 3) After that put the sorrel to boil in litres of water the ingredient stated for 15 minutes. 4) Use a lid and cover well. Allow to devolve for 2 to 6 hours. 5) Next blend the ginger once it peeled with one cup of water. Then strain it well. You want to use the ginger juice only. 6) After that strain the boiled soaked sorrel. Use a wooden spoon or a regular big spoon to squeeze the sorrel juice out. 7) Strain it three times, you can use a clean white cloth to strain it as well. 8) Now you are ready to sweeten your sorrel drink. 9) Add the sugar, the pimento seeds, the ginger juice, the rum if you are using rum.
